The mission:

Cactus Wren, an à la carte wine bar nestled in the vibrant Lower East Side of Manhattan, approached Round Six Agency with the goal of creating a website as welcoming and fun as their physical space. Known for its light, airy interior, indulgent yet unpretentious dishes, and forward-thinking wine list, Cactus Wren needed a digital home that captured its laid-back, community-driven atmosphere while streamlining the user experience for guests.

Round Six delivered a one-page website that perfectly mirrors the charm and vibrancy of Cactus Wren. The design emphasizes simplicity and functionality to provide users with a seamless online experience.

  • Branding that translates: The neutral tones and airy feel of the restaurant’s interior are echoed in the website’s visual design, creating a cohesive connection between the digital and physical spaces.

  • User-friendly layout: The one-page design ensures that the “who, what, where, when, and why” is immediately clear.

  • Effortless functionality: A prominent menu, direct links to Resy for reservations, and an integrated Google Map allow users to plan their visit with ease.

  • Community-focused storytelling: The website highlights the restaurant’s approachable atmosphere, creative dishes, and sustainable wine list, making it a key touchpoint for attracting both regulars and first-time visitors.
